To the citizens and visitors of Augsburg,

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, there is hardly anything more familiar in the Augsburg cityscape than our beautiful Christkindlesmarkt. The lights, the “Christmas tree for all” from the region, the nativity scene and the wonderful aromas that fill our nostrils: All this heightens our anticipation of Christmas Eve.

From 25 November to 24 December 2024, our town hall square will be transformed into an atmospheric Christmas landscape and a festive place for encounters. Around the large Christmas tree, you will find lovingly decorated huts and market stalls offering not only arts and crafts and culinary delights, but also nostalgic flair.
