The Augsburg Christmas Market is one of the oldest and most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany. It shapes the Advent season in our city in a very special way. Year after year, a unique atmosphere takes shape against the impressive backdrop of our Renaissance City Hall and the Perlach Tower.
From November 23 to December 24, 2026, I invite you to join us in experiencing the anticipation of Christmas together.
The Christmas Market combines tradition with vibrancy. Festively decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, and culinary specialties invite you to linger. A special highlight is the Augsburg Angel Play, which transforms the Town Hall Square into an atmospheric stage setting and enchants visitors with its music. Our Christmas Market is more than just a market. It is a meeting place for citizens, families, guests, and friends of our city. Here, people come together, strike up conversations, and enjoy the special atmosphere of the pre-Christmas season together.
